I was thinking until today that Forbes was a very respected publication. I might be totally wrong. In a garbage piece published yesterday, Mr Cohen shows that he’s just trying to steal thunder by predicting very hard times and ask for a replacement of Tim Cook. How can we take this guy seriously when he explain going the low-end and cheap way is the only way for Apple to keep profits from declining… There is no money to be made in the low end… only market share… What is the point of the market share when nobody is making money there?

Look, Apple came out with the iPad mini and “analysts” are saying that this will put pressure on their margins… apply that to making a low end iPhone… Apple must be very picky in their strategic choices if they want to tackle the lower end part of the smartphone business. I don’t think Jony Ive is the right man to do this. Tim Cook is.
