Kevin Lynch: a software guy reporting to an hardware guy, Bob Mansfield. Rings any bell to you?

Many are intrigued by this latest hiring from Apple. Some even think it may seems odd and unfit for Apple.

Personally, I would have thought this guy would work with a software division. Bob Mansfield is all about hardware technologies… Not software.
